Kiyinda Boys Football Club was founded 5 years ago by the Kiyinda Mityana Roman Catholic church to nurture and help talented youths in Mityana.
Under the leadership of the first Club President Rev. Fr. Simon Peter Kyambadde the club rose through the Fufa Leagues up to the 2nd tier of Ugandan Club Football which is Fufa Big League.
At the start of the recently concluded 2023/2024 season, through the Club President, the club was sold to TAB Sports Agency, which previously owned & run Black Star Masanafu which is a 3rd Division Club based in Kampala. With the purchase of Kiyinda Boys FC, the TAB sports agency had to sell off its interest in Black Star.

At the start of the recently concluded 2023/2024 season, through the Club President, the club was sold to TAB Sports Agency, which previously owned & run Black Star Masanafu which is a 3rd Division Club based in Kampala. With the purchase of Kiyinda Boys FC, TAB sports agency had to sell off its interest in Black Star. The club has just finished it maiden season in the Fufa big league, where it finished a respectable 5th in the 15-team league, for a newly promoted team, this was a great first season sldo considering that the top 3 get automatic promotion.
